Overview
Designated Red Seal occupations follow a national standard called the Red Seal Occupational Standard (RSOS). These standards form the basis for both the curriculum and the level exams throughout your apprenticeship. To support your learning and exam preparation, the Red Seal website offers a range of helpful resources—including the RSOS documents, exam breakdowns, sample questions, self-assessment tools and preparation guides. The certification exam is the Interprovincial Red Seal exam which confirms your skills are recognized across Canada.
