Teaching standards — Anglophone School District

Information and standards of practice for teachers working in the Anglophone school districts in New Brunswick.

Overview

The New Brunswick Standards of Practice for Teachers (Anglophone Sector) outline the knowledge, skills, values, and personal commitment expected of teachers in the province who complete a B.Ed. program.

These standards have been developed collaboratively between New Brunswick’s Anglophone School Districts, the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development, New Brunswick Teachers’ Association and the faculties of education at the province’s English-language universities:

  • St Thomas University
  • University of New Brunswick (Saint John and Fredericton)
  • Crandall University
