Overview

Private trainers who offer programs aimed at improving or enhancing a person’s employability must register under the Private Occupational Training Act to receive a certificate of registration. The goal is to protect students' financial investment in their education while maintaining a stable and responsible training environment.

They are required to register under the Act and to provide Financial Security (Surety Bond or Irrevocable Letter of Credit) for the first two years of operation.
