Overview
You can request a statement of account to get information on property taxes from past years. There is a fee for information that is more than 5 years old.
Who can apply
You can apply if:
- you were the assessed owner of the property during the year(s) you’re requesting statements for, or
- you have a signed letter of consent (PDF 22 KB) from the assessed owner, giving you permission to release the information.
How much it costs
Fees are based on how old the property tax information is and reflects the cost of historical data recovery.

| 6 to 7 years | $25.00 |
| 8 to 9 years | $50.00 |
| 10 years or more | $100.00 |
You can use one application form for multiple accounts, but a fee will apply to statements produced on each account.
Before you apply
You will need:
- Property account number(s) (PAN)
- A signed letter of consent (PDF 22 KB) if you are not the assessed property owner
- Payment for applicable fees
After you apply
Once the Department of Finance has received your completed application form and payment, your statement will be processed within 2 weeks.
