Overview
To participate in the Atlantic Immigration Program, employers must first receive designation from Immigration New Brunswick. This process ensures that employers are eligible, compliant, and prepared to assist newcomers both in the workplace and in the community. Only designated employers can offer jobs and submit endorsement applications under the program.
Becoming a designated employer
Contact Immigration New Brunswick about immigration programs available to employers. An officer will contact you to discuss your next steps.
You may be referred to WorkingNB, where a workforce consultant will work with you to identify your needs and employment services that might be available to you. Once you are a designated employer, you may apply to Immigration New Brunswick to endorse a position offered to a foreign national through the Atlantic Immigration Program candidate pool.
Please note: Any changes to the ownership, management or operations of a designated employer may have an impact on the designation. In addition, the designation is not automatically transferred after the sale of a business.
If there have been changes, the new owner or management must contact Immigration New Brunswick.
