Overview
The Training and Employment Support Services (TESS) component of the Employment Services Program helps New Brunswickers who have a permanent physical, intellectual, psychiatric, cognitive, or sensory disability.
The objective is to reduce or remove the impact of a person’s disability to help them participate in training or to resume and maintain employment. Any individual with a disability, whether they are receiving income support benefits or not, could be eligible for services.
Support is tailored to the individual needs of the client but may include:
- supports necessary for a person with a disability to participate in training
- supports necessary for a person with a disability to obtain, to resume employment when it has been interrupted, and/or to maintain employment
