Staying engaged mentally and socially is just as important as physical well-being. People who regularly interact with others tend to maintain better brain function as they age.

Examples of social activities

  • Prioritize friendships by checking in with each other and spending time together. 
  • Talk on the phone or meet for a coffee.
  • Join groups like a book club, fitness class, cooking classes, etc. 
  • Volunteer.
