Overview
During a flood the situation can change quickly. Be prepared to evacuate immediately if needed or if authorities issue an evacuation order. Staying in the area during an evacuation order can be dangerous for you, your family and first responders.
Protect yourself and your home
Flood waters can be dangerous and unpredictable. Even floods that look small can be deadly. The best thing you can do when you encounter a flood is to move away from the flood water.
