Overview
During and after a natural disaster, the Government of New Brunswick will assist residents and to aim to ensure everyone remains safe.
However, affected communities depend heavily on local volunteer organizations to provide trained volunteers and much-needed donated supplies. Residents are encouraged to step up, reach out and help as they are able.
What to do
If you can safely do so, you may
- reach out to your local Emergency Management Organization offices or other authorities to identify areas in need and how you can help
- reach out to neighbours to see if they require assistance
- volunteer at the Canadian Red Cross
You can follow authoritative sources like NBEMO, or the Government of New Brunswick on Facebook and X and share information from these sources on your social media accounts.
