Structure of government

Lieutenant-Governor

The King of Canada, His Majesty King Charles III, is the official Head of State and is represented in New Brunswick by the Lieutenant-Governor.

Premier and executive branch

The premier and the cabinet, who are selected by the premier, are included in this branch. They oversee different government departments and ensure that the laws are implemented.

Legislative branch

This is where laws and budgetary decisions are made.
