The new gnb.ca
Our primary website gnb.ca is undergoing big changes to provide everyone with an improved user experience. We have been working towards a more digital friendly government, and we have now released a more modern version of the official Government of New Brunswick website.
The redesign of the website is a part of multi-year approach aligning gnb.ca with the New Brunswick digital strategy.
How we’re doing it
To ensure we are creating a better online experience for New Brunswickers, this multi-year project has been focused on:
- Enhancing the mobile and device accessibility so information can be easily accessed no matter what platform the user is getting it from
- Establishing a clear navigation system for users
- Ensuring the website content is clear and easy for users to understand
Accessibility
Government of New Brunswick web pages are designed and written to be as accessible as possible to accommodate different levels of literacy and visually impaired or blind visitors using screen reading software.
Images
Decorative images are typically only used on gnb.ca when required. Descriptive images with text (i.e. infographics, roadmaps, marketing assets, etc.) are limited on the website and not recommended. Should you require the asset on the page as an image, it must have descriptive and alternative text.
Keyboard controls
Controls on gnb.ca are all operable with a keyboard.

Some documents on this website are available in PDF format. A PDF reader is required to open these types of files. Adobe Acrobat is available to download at no charge.
