During Oral Questions, Mr. Speaker requested that Members avoid making long preambles when asking questions as they often lead to long answers in response.


Government Motions re Business of House

Hon. Mr. Tyler announced the process the government intended to follow to inform Members of the Legislative Assembly, the media, and the public, on the Fredericton-Moncton Highway Project. The Government House Leader informed the House that the first of several information sessions to fully brief Members on the said Project would commence today in the Legislative Council Chambers.


On motion of Hon. Mr. Tyler, seconded by Mr. Allaby:

RESOLVED, that the membership of the Standing Committee on Private Bills be amended by substituting the name of Mr. O'Donnell for Hon. Mr. Richard and by adding the name of Mr. Flynn.


And then, 9.37 o'clock a.m., the House adjourned.
