Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick

Built in 1882, the present Legislative Assembly Building
in Fredericton is the seat and symbol of
democracy in New Brunswick.


With the delivery of the Speech from the Throne,
Her Honour the Lieutenant-Governor will formally open
the First Session of the Sixtieth Legislature on
Tuesday, November 17, 2020, at 1 o’clock p.m.


RESTRICTED ACCESS TO THE
LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY BUILDINGS

As a preventative measure, the Legislative Assembly buildings are currently closed to visitor access.

These preventative measures are being taken to help ensure the health and safety of all persons and to protect
individuals who may be at risk for more severe
complications from COVID-19.
