Abstract: A field trial was conducted in Hartland, New Brunswick in 2003 to study the effect of OxiDate storage treatment of the potato cultivar Dark Red Norland for 16 weeks and also prior to planting by spraying seed pieces with OxiDate 1:100 on growth and yield. Seed potatoes were not treated with any seed piece treatment before planting. Applying OxiDate in storage and then treating seed pieces before planting with OxiDate 1:100 gave the highest % emergence, canopy, total yield and marketable yield.
